You will track the eastern lowland gorillas in Kahuzi Biega National Park for the eastern lowland gorillas which is south of Lake Kivu.

Day 1: Drive to Bukavu in DR Congo
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, the company guide will pick you and drive you southwards to Cyangugu border on the way to Bakavu in DR Congo, have your lunch at Butale Ibis Hotel and then continue crossing to the boarder to Bukavu , and in case time allows , visit the genocide memorials that is located along Nyungwe road.
Dinner and overnight at Orchid safari Lodge/ Far Horizon
Day 2: Tracking Lowland Gorilla tracking in Kahuzi Biega South Kivu
Have an early morning breakfast and after drive to Kahuzi Beiga National Park in order to track the lowland gorillas, this drive from the Orchid safari Lodge is about 1 hour to the park headquarters for this true safari experience of lowland gorilla trekking in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In the briefing, the clients are entertained by the cultural dance as well as hot tea that is offered by the park. Tracking these lowland gorillas is very amazing since the lowland Gorillas differ from the mountain gorillas. The lowland gorillas stay in bigger families as compared to the mountain gorillas; you will actually not regret the safari efforts, once you meet the amazing Gorillas! After tracking these gorillas, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Early in the morning, travel back to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
