Kahuzi Biega National Park has a tourist visa for its visitors (100 USD) which facilitates entry into the Democratic Republic of Congo for a stay of 14 days.

To get it :

Book and pay for your gorilla tour.
Download our visa application form;
Fill in and send it back to us (reservation@kahuzi-biega.org) directly with a copy of your passport;
We will send you an invitation letter and;
When you arrive at the Rwandan Congolese border, you show your invitation letter and pay cash 100 US dollars.

Prerequisites
Non-resident foreigners: presentation of a passport valid for at least 6 months and a visa issued by a consular authority (don’t forget your vaccination record and check that your yellow fever vaccinations are up to date before coming to ground floor)

Foreigners residing in the DRC or CEPGL, CEAC, SADC zones: presentation of a valid passport with work, establishment or courtesy visa.

Students: presentation of a valid student card for the current year

Nationals: presentation of a valid voter card

Youth: ages 15-17 (gorilla visit)

Youth: ages 10-17 (hiking, camping, and climbing)

Non-resident foreign tourists wishing to visit the PNKB must first obtain a visa from the DRC Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence. The requirements and regulations for obtaining this visa may change regularly. To properly organize your trip, please first consult the nearest DRC consulate for more information.

You can obtain a tourist visa by completing the form below and then sending us a copy of the passport. We will send you an invitation letter and process your visa here on site in Bukavu. The visa costs 50 USD for 14 days in Bukavu.
